Based on its geographic location, nestled between the Pyrenees and Mediterranean Sea, Languedoc-Roussillon is a region that benefits from an exceptional climate.

The average temperature during the year is about 17 °C.

This region is said to have 300 sunny days per year and that the light, which is unique, inspired the Fauvism.

La Tramontane and the « mistral » of Perpignan, known as the stong winds of the region are a delight for all the ‘wind’ sport fans.

Its high massifs are covered in snow-from December through to March giving the region a long skiing season.
